Welcome to Temple Mt. Sinai. We are a small, historic congregation located in "the front porch of the Lowcountry" Walterboro, South Carolina. As the only synagogue in Walterboro, we welcome Jewish people from all backgrounds. We want to be the synagogue home for those who are unaffiliated in Colleton and surrounding counties. Only a pleasant half-hour drive from the towns of Summerville and Ridgeville, we are an alternative choice for those living in the Greater Charleston area.

We are a small congregation with a big heart! We are layman-led and open for High Holiday services and occasional Shabbats throughout the year. As our community grows, we hope to increase the number of Friday night services, and possibly add Saturday services.
